Microsoft Dynamics 365 + LinkedIn Sales Navigator:
Spring 2018 updates bring deeper integration & new features
Earlier integrations included a sync feature, which automatically matches people and companies in CRM to LinkedIn profiles, and saves people and companies found within your open opportunities to Sales Navigator. This feature also enables communications, such as notes, InMail, etc., to be written back to Dynamics 365 from Sales Navigator.
The new phase of updates provides users with deeper insight by bringing relevant Sales Navigator data, along with LinkedIn profile photos directly to the Dynamics user interface. Also new within this update is the ability to send LinkedIn messages and InMails directly from CRM, without opening a separate Sales Navigator tab. Relationship Analytics will also expand to include activities from InMail, PointDrive, and Relationship Assistant.
In addition to the improvements made to Dynamics 365 for Sales, Microsoft is also introducing Sales Navigator integrations with PowerApps and Power BI. The integration with PowerApps will enable users to embed LinkedIn profiles from Sales Navigator directly into custom applications. Integration with Power BI will enhance the user’s ability to set goals, track data, and share best practices, by allowing customers to create advanced reports on Sales Navigator usage metrics.
